We successfully designed and installed premium safety flooring for Vasavi Group’s residential complex play area, creating a vibrant and secure space for children. The project featured high-quality, shock-absorbent rubber tiles arranged in bright, colorful patterns that encourage active play while ensuring protection against falls. By using non-toxic, UV-resistant materials, the flooring not only enhanced the play experience but also provided durability to withstand Hyderabad’s weather conditions.

The project posed challenges such as balancing safety with long-term durability, designing engaging patterns that would appeal to children, and ensuring proper drainage during monsoon seasons. Additional requirements included compliance with international safety standards for fall protection, maintaining hygienic and easy-to-clean surfaces, and completing the work without disrupting residents’ daily activities.

Our team addressed these challenges by installing interlocking rubber tiles with a 2.5m critical fall height rating and incorporating fade-resistant colors in educational patterns. A porous sub-base drainage system was implemented to handle rainwater effectively, while antimicrobial materials were chosen to resist mold and bacteria. To minimize disruption, the installation was executed in phases during low-usage hours. The final design included custom logos, educational graphics, and wheelchair-accessible pathways, ensuring the play area was both safe and inclusive for all children.
